RN to BSN - Lehman or CUNY SPS?

Updated:   Published

I'm expecting to graduate with my associate RN in December 2015 from Bronx Community College. I'm trying to decide if I should continue with the Lehman online RN to BSN or the Cuny school of professional studies online RN to BSN. I've heard that the CUNY SPS degree is very challenging and completely online except for the clinical hours, which is important to me. I've also heard that at Lehman there are a few classes you need to attend in person, and from the website it looks like I would need to take at least one prerequisite before I could start in the program (Human growth and development). I'm leaning toward the SPS because I have no problem scheduling myself to complete assignments, and I really don't want classes to get in the way of any potential job I might find (hoping for 12 hours shifts 7-7). Anyone else have any insights? Also, I have a Bachelor's in something unrelated so I can probably get out of taking history, statistics, etc.

What is the maximum number of credits that Lehman will take? There website does not say this, it only says 37.5 nursing credits are required. I graduated this month and I am leaning towards SPS for RN-BS. There maximum transfer credits is 90, I have already been evaluated.

Any info on Lehman would be appreciated.

I am attaching a response that I made to a similar thread.
