Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Published

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

My interview went by pretty quickly, I was a little nervous but overall I think I did well! I forgot to ask whether or not some people were still testing but I'm assuming some will because she said she hopes to get letters out by beginning of July :-/. So it looks like we have about another month until we know something.

I'm glad it went well! And awww dang. Did you ask any questions?

Yes, I asked her if we would be notified no matter the decision or just if we are accepted. She said that they would let us know the decision either way via letter. And then she mentioned wanting to get letters out by the beginning of July. I started to ask her if I could/should test again to make myself more "competitive" but I decided to be happy with where I stand and to trust that God's will be done. If I don't make it, I will probably retake the TEAS.

I really think you will make it!

:-), I think u will too! I so hope we are classmates!

So I had a dream last night that there was some type of meeting held that some of the applicants for this program was invited to. They showed us all of our points and talked about the school. I had 135 out of 150 points which made me feel as if I got in. I SO wish this was real

Awww man, I hope that becomes a reality as well! Man I hope she can get those letters out earlier or by the first. Even with all I have to keep me busy, I'm still going nuts over this wait.

Yeah it would be really nice if they went out in june. When I talked to the other guy he told me that we should know by June 30th cus I was asking about applying for this one scholarship. He said that admissions decisions are normally made 4-6 weeks after the deadline which would put as at June 14th( my birthday)- June 28th. But she has said otherwise! Regardless, it is too long haha

I know right, in a couple of weeks from now, I'll e-mail the recruiter and see if he can find out when letters will be sent out for us. Maybe she'll have more of a concrete date by then! :)

Yeah he said he will try to let me know before. We will seeeeeee! :)
