Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Published

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

I wonder if everyone has been tested now

I'm not sure. At the beginning of the exam she said she would be calling people to set up interviews and discuss retesting options if you didn't get a 65.8 or above. So I'm not sure when the cutoff is for testing to get in the program in September.

I'm sure it's soon since she has to get all the interviews done

Yea, I'm kind of hoping today was the last day. I'm ready to get this show on the road!

Me too! Well hopefully when you have your interview you will be able to find out more info

Most definitely, because if she asks if I have any questions, I surely plan to ask two questions: Is all the testing done and when should we know something?

Yes! And if it will be by mail or if accepted people will get a phone call!

I will add that! :). I hope we get a phone call. If we get mail only and my envelope isn't a little thick, then I'm going to assume it is a rejection letter. Lol, this process has me so soooo anxious!

Girl me too! I will be pretty upset if I don't get in, but I will just keep trying. I think you're a really competitive applicant though :)

Thank you! I think you are as well! Yea I'm going to be a little bummed if I don't get in but then I'll just reapply for January.

I wonder if less people apply for that one, or if its about the same...probably the same

My first thought was maybe there were less applicants for January. Then I figured it was about the same or maybe more because when people don't get in other programs they apply to Riverside as a back-up.
