Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Published

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

Awwww, that is crappy! Well as Hannah said, Riverside is a great school and the staff is pretty awesome.

I think riverside is about $1,000 dollars more but honestly I think it will be worth it even though its not a bachelors degree. It's a really respected program and I just love it! I think there is a perfect program for everyone and God's got your back

I know it! Some days time seems to fly by and other times time is goes by super slow. I have a FB I'll send a PM with my info![/quote']

Ok!! :)

Yea it is but I'm not I'm still pushing. Sentara is pretty pricey as well, I think God has a better plan for me even though I really want sentara lol. What's the tuition for riverside anyways?[/quote']

Lol, sometimes He does have other plans in mind! Not sure how much Sentara is but the tuition at Riverside is around 24,500.

Yea you're absolutely right!

So I emailed the recruiter today asking if he knew how many people were being interviewed and he said he wasn't sure because some people are still testing. He did say that it appears that I did really well on my TEAS and interview!

Yayyy! I hope u get in!! :)

Thank you! I will be so ecstatic if I do!

That's great news! I'm sure you'll get in! I figured some people are still testing and that is why we wouldn't get letters until July. I'm still going to email him towards the end of the month and ask when we should find out!

I wish riverside offered a bachelors instead of a diploma! They should change it to that. I wonder why though...

Yeah it would be nice if it was

I know, it sure would be nice. I've heard they may eventually offer the BSN, but then again, this has been said for some years now.
