I really want to be in Cohort B so I can have one day off during the week. I want to be able to work at least one day. I'm thinking Riverside County as well cause it's the closest to my house and I can avoid the 91 freeway from where I live. But it really don't matter what clinical site I end up in as long as the staff is receptive to students:)

I did my drug screening yesterday and they said up to two days but I recieved my test result already.

Ok good! It does not take long to get the results. I will turn in my order this friday. I hope i get a date early next week when i am back in town.

Does anyone know if the shoes have to have laces?? I know they said no open heel and no open toe. There are so many nursing shoes that are slip on and very little that have regular laces! :eek:

I dont know about the lace. I did order some all balance sneakers from nordstroms. On sale for 53 normallu 100. They are all black.

I'm not too sure so i tried to email s but i recieved an email saying they won't be in the office until the 5th. I really liked some nursemates that had laces, actual laces not the decorative ones lol buuuuut i want to find a store so i can try them on....no luck so far. I'll be on the hunt today lol. Queen dont get discouraged. I'm sure you saw from the other thread, this wasn't my first time applying. I know how you feel but keep trying. Best of luck! :)

I'm still hoping you get in this time around Queen:( Don't worry though cause you'll get in next time. I really like those balance shoes RN2B!! They look comfortable. I think your okay with no laces. I know some people from previous threads got the dansko nursing shoes and they have no laces. They are expensive though. Are you guys going to get a different stethoscope or use the one in the supply bag. I went ahead and got my drug test done yesterday. Vanessa did they finish your background check?
