Riverside Community College Spring 2012 Applicants

Published

Did anyone else apply to the RCC program for Spring 2012? Does anyone know if we will have to wait until January to find out whether or not we get in? I'm hoping they will let us know by December. This waiting is torture!

I made the alternate list :/ this blows. Anyone know the chances of making it in? CONGRATS to those who made it. Hopefully a few people decide not to attend and i take a spot. Ahhhh

951jay how many points do you have?

75 :/ I made it in two semesters ago with 80 but couldnt attend. This time around the teas test screwed me. All I need is to take anthropology or take the clap exam for sociology and ill be back to 80pts :)

Congratulations to everyone who got in! I was accepted as well!

I am excited to meet you all!

Congrats to everyone...how many points did you all have and what was your score on the TEAS if you guys dont mind me asking?

I had 100 points and a 91 on my TEAS test.

Does anyone have any idea when the program actually starts? I know they will go into it at intake but I am just curious. Thanks

RCC's Spring semester starts Feb. 13th, but I'm not sure if we're on the same schedule.

Does anyone know about the "Math Exam" that we have to take and pass at orientation?? It says that we're supposed to get a study guide at intake...eeekk !

Yeah im excited. I just want to start already...

Does anyone know how much RCC charges for the MMR and Hep B immunizations? I called the Riv campus clinic and they wouldn't tell me over the phone. I went to my personal doctor this morning and got my physical, TB test, flu shot and bloodwork for titers on polio and chicken pox but they wouldn't do the Hep B or MMR vaccinations without insurance authorization : /

I never had the hep B immunizations and I know from a previous titer that I need the MMR.

Ok nevermind! I should have checked the RCC website before I posted, they have the charges listed :o

But if anyone is going to their own doctor for immunizations do it fast cuz there is no telling how long the authorizations will really take!

does anyone know if they will invite you again to take the teas test if you re-apply for fall 2012? i have 75 points and i didn't do well on teas exam and i really i wanna retake it and get a better grade

Yes, RCC will invite you again based on the new collective prereqs' gpa. On the test day, I overheard a guy stating that it was his second time taking the TEAS exam at RCC. To be 100% sure, you can email ----.
