Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. Let the applications begin!!

June 5-11 are finals and I don't think there's an official date online when fall semester starts but it is usually the last week of August I think

If S cleared us for registration, do we still have to check in with him on the 21st for the uniform, kit, ati and shoes?

No. I was told he will email us once he gets the information on the uniforms. ATI has to be purchased by the 21st or there is a late charge.

I was able to register for classes yesterday and I didn't get cleared from anyone at RCC. Has this happened to anyone else?

Did you email both people? That is how they know to clear you, if not you can go to the office or call, once you contact them they should clear you quickly

I emailed ------------ around noon and -------------- about 4pm. My original registration date was yesterday so I thought I would just try to register and I was surprised when it worked lol. I chose RCRMC.

ok so here's one post to any questions...

1. uniforms: I called Dove Apparel and they said they were waiting on information from the school in order to open up the webpage for us. I emailed s.p. and he said that he will let us know when we can order the uniforms. I heard that it takes 3 weeks for us to receive our uniforms so I hope they open it up soon because we still need time to get the patchwork done after we receive them.

2. supply kit: I called the bookstore and they said that the kits should be ready later this month

3. registration: if you did not get clearance for early registration then you have to wait until the normal reg date you were given. for example my normal reg date was 1/29 but I got priority and was able to register on the 8th.

4. books: how long did it take everyone to receive their books from the publisher? it seems like it is taking forever for me to get mine.

5. does anyone else have p.t. for clinicals at rch?

I went to the bookstore today and they said they have the supply bags but no price, so we can buy then by the end of next week. I'll check back next week and let you guys know for sure when they are available

It it took about 2 and a half weeks for my books to come and I am missing a disc so make sure you count everything you get, they told me they mailed out the missing disc and I'm still waiting
