Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. Let the applications begin!!

I went today and they just said it's going to be around $138 and they will be ready end of this week or end of next week. Did you guys see it says bill and ship date match 7?

Is that correct? What are we going to wear until then? I'm nervous to order uniforms without getting to try them on :-/

I'm guessing since were all in this together they will have to accommodate us somehow. It's out of our hands unfortunately as to when they come in. I'm running to the store right now to get a measuring tape and see what size I fall under. Plus they all have stretch to them so I wouldn't be too worried about it fitting so long as you're close measurement wise.

Same here. I am debating if I should get one xs and one s zip top because I am not sure what would fit best : /

I know me too, I wonder if the scrubs stores at the mall have the same brand to maybe try on?and I have no idea should I call the company and ask? Because I thought we would need them for the first couple weeks even if we aren't in the hospital

That's what I thought too. I'm just concerned about the pants..I have a hard time finding pants that fit well.

The guys uniforms are lucky they have extra pockets! Darn I wanted the men's top and unisex cargo pants until I saw it was required we buy the ladies ones.

I saw theres one called the California dream on campus, I have no idea what it's for. Also I think Johnson & Johnson has nursing scholarships

I'm nervous about the uniforms as well. I ordered one of my pants "short" and one regular to see which work better. I don't like the fact that they wait to ship our uniforms until 2 weeks before clinical. Seems stupid to me since we still have to get the patchwork done
