Published

Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. Let the applications begin!!

Do they know you have immunity because of your titers? Or are they just saying you have immunity because you've have the vaccine? If you have your titer showing immunity you should be okay. I had my titers and didn't have to retake the hep B series.
Yes if you show proof of your vaccinations (little yellow card), then they will order titers for that. Or even have titers than you wouldnt have to take the series again : )

Okay, yeah I had titers for the rest of the vaccines except Hep B for some reason. I will make sure to get a titer done as soon as possible though. Thanks!

Seriously!! But it is totally an investment to our futures! Hey what cohort are you planning on being in? I'm thinking B and still debating on Arrowhead and Kaiser Riv.

Specializes in L&D, NICU.

Have any of you started the reading yet?

I just started reading taylor's clinical nursing skills yesterday since that is the only book I have right now that is the assigned reading.

How is that going?

Well, I am barely on the first chapter reading up on vital signs and it feels pretty simple so far.

True! :) I have never been to Arrowhead, but I 've heard great things about it!

My first choice is Cohort B at Kaiser and my second choice would be Cohort B at Riverside Regional in Moreno Valley. I live all the way in Hemet/San Jac so Regional would be the closest. It looks like a lot of people want Kaiser, it's a great hospital. Either way I am happy at any place I get! lol (:
