Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. I wish he would have told us what place we were on the standby list.

EMT23, I'm just going to keep positive; I know there are those who applied at RCC who also applied at LLU. LLU will announce their accepted students Jan. so i'm hoping that they open up seats then.

It sure feels like it! I'm going to call first thing in the morning. Jan seems so far away

Hey guys. congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to those who are still waiting but I had a question. Did anyone take the recommended nursing math prior to applying? I got accepted into RCC's adn program but did not take that course and was wondering if that will affect me in anyway. For the ones who did take the course was it hard?

I am at the library in Norco, I don't wanna get up screaming (I was sure about too Ha!) Omg I am sooo happy for you! Since I know your dream school was Loma Linda, same here. But it's cool. We will eventually get there whether it be for a BSN or MSN... See you at intake day!

Hurray!!! So happy for you!!!:D Lol!! I was the same wait sitting in a table outside the college. Heck yeah!! I cannot wait to start clinicals!! :D

Hey, what math class are you talking about? The dosage calculations one? I heard you had to get cleared by the department before being able to take it. No I do not believe it will affect you. From what I heard it was basic math. It's all good as long as they do not turn it into a requirement, but it could be helpful : )

I am planning to take the Prepare for Success in Nursing school one this winter
