Anyone applying for RCC's Fall 2015 Nursing program?

Thought I'd start a thread to communicate about applying, TEAS, etc.

Ahhh congrats!!!!!! Yay I'm soo happy for you that's awesome :)

I just got my acceptance letter guys. For all of you on here try your darndest to get all of the points you can. If you get on the alternate list get your shot records done and go to intake. Good Luck to you all :).

That's awesome!! You deserve it. I wish you the very best and good luck in all your future endeavors.

@queen be sure to check in and let us know how your first week of class is going...so exciting!!!

Where is everyone else??? I take it we're all busy studying!!! Lol... it's been so hard for me to stay focused!! Check in you guys. :angrybird9:

@sammyjoe11 yeah, it's been hard for me too! I am taking a winter class right now so as soon as it's done I will get more serious :/

Way to go Queen!! Just so I'm clear.... You got into the RCC program? I know RN school will be tough and busy but please let us know how it's going. Best of luck!

I am in week 3 in the RN program and it is very busy. I just took my fist exam and I got an A. I love it so much guys. Study hard for your TEAS. If you are an alternate then don't lose hope someone got in on the first day of class. Alternates do get in. If you do not have enough points to get in then take a class over, take a language class, or get your CNA. Just don't give up. Good Luck to you all :).

I was reading a different thread and some people with 80 pts didn't make it in so I'm nervous >.<...did you try applying to mt. san jacinto college their application just came out.>

Not true everyone with *0 points last time got in. I got in as an alternate with 75 points.

Thanks Queen!! I'm so glad everything worked out for you and you're enjoying your first few weeks of class! I can't wait!!! Studying for Teas is a bit overwhelming at times because there's so much material. May is right around the corner so I have to stay focused!!! Loved the update!! Keep kicking butt and getting those A's!!

Thank you for letting me know! :) good luck in the program!! :)

Has anyone started studying for the TEAS? I took a practice exam and let's just say I have a long way to go to get myself up to speed in math and science. One thing is sure, I will be hiring a tutor...lol. I'm not ready for this!!!:bookworm:

I feel your pain! I've been studying here and there & the math part is challenging for me as well so I'm just going to practice as much as I can
