Anyone applying for RCC's Fall 2015 Nursing program?

Thought I'd start a thread to communicate about applying, TEAS, etc.

For those of you who submitted your apps, how many days passed before receiving the confirmation email. I submitted my application on Saturday and still haven't received the confirmation email. Thanks.

Exactly 1 week I submitted mine last Wednesday

Thanks Ladies! I was starting to worry... oh man.. let the anticipation begin....OH boy!!

They are there everyday. I don't know the hours but I believe they are there at 8. I have gotten my conformation to my application. I am still hoping I get for the Spring though. Im still on the alternate list.

I will have you in my prayers for Spring entry if not I will be more than happy to meet you for the Fall if I'm accepted as well 😄

Hi all, I submitted my app last Tuesday and received confirmation today also. @ futureneonurse, I have class on Wednesdays in the nursing building at 2pm and usually someone is still there at the desk when I get out of class around 4pm.

Ok I got my confirmation letter today. Also for those of us who need to submit proof of CNA certification, I spoke with SON and they said it's ok to scan the ID card and email it in using the same format on the subject line Last_First_student id.

Welcome new comers and good luck!

I Have officially pulled out my Teas study guide and this does not look fun!! Most of the material is basic aside from the science section but it's definitely been a while since I've done algebra and grammar concepts! You guys have any study tips to share?

Hi, I took the teas a couple of months ago and I would definitely say focus on the math and science portion the most. For some reason my teas was very heavy in Chemistry I may have had only a few questions from A and P and micro, and they even had the nerve to have some questions from Earth Science lol. I didn't find the reading very challenging, but just time yourself when your practicing because the passages get pretty long. Review the spelling and grammar section as those will pop up. I would say the science section was the most challenging for me. I hope that helps. 😄

Well guys it's looking like I might be your cohort for the Fall. I am still on the alternate list but I looked the schedule for nursing 11 and its only 12 spots left for registration and I was number 19 on the list. I am still hoping but just being realistic.

Please study well because you only have one shot at it unless you fail.
