Riverside Community College Fall 2015 RN

Anyone applying for RCC's Fall 2015 Nursing program?

Thought I'd start a thread to communicate about applying, TEAS, etc.

Anyone know what days & times the SON is open during winter? I've tried calling to find out but can't get through to speak with anyone -_- need to submit a copy of my CNA licence.

They're normally open during regular school hours. I ALWAYS walk in and talk to either ----------------- or an employee. If you need her contact information I have it. She's very prompt and resourceful when it comes to questions

Ok I got my confirmation letter today. Also for those of us who need to submit proof of CNA certification, I spoke with SON and they said it's ok to scan the ID card and email it in using the same format on the subject line Last_First_student id.

Hey Silee, we don't need to submit our actual license until we've been accepted. It says so on the App form. If/when we get accepted there will be forms to turn in as well as copies of our licenses.

Hi DvdBEMT, you actually do need to submit a copy of your CNA certificate if you would like to receive your points for that section of the application of course unless you have meet the other requirements: Bachelors degree etc, etc. You won't have to submit things such as a CPR, Drivers License, SSC, etc until you are accepted. Don't miss out on those points if you have met the requirements. Hope that helps.

No you need to submit your license with your application if you are planning to use it for points.

Good News guys starting in the fall University of Phoenix is partnering with RCC. They are starting an ADN to BSN program option. Students who chose this option will get their BSN six months after they graduate. The cost is 11 grand for the tuition. Its optional. You can get your regular ADN without it. I think its good since most hospitals want BSN graduates now.

Hi guys :)

Do you know what is the average points you get in with??

and how many schools have you guys applied to?

@soloreo93 hey! :) I think it depends on the people that are applying and they base it off that.. I believe for spring people got in with 75 points.. So far I've just applied to RCC I want to transfer to a csu but they're application usually isn't until September most of them :/ I'm probably going to apply to college of th desert as well

I was reading a different thread and some people with 80 pts didn't make it in so I'm nervous >.<...did you try applying to mt. san jacinto college their application just came out.>

Yeah I think it's based on whatever else is applying with u know so if everyone has high points then the cut off will be higher.. I didn't even think about that maybe so I have different options hopefully

I had 75 points and was an alternate. some people with 75 points got in on the alternate list already depending on where they ranked by random selection. I am still waiting to get in. Everyone with 80 points got in who could verify those points for the Spring. Some people got in with less points by random selection. Every application pool is different. With a language I now have 80 points.

Niceeee u got this!! Yeah, I took anthro 2 to replace my sociology grade so I'm hoping that helps me At least there's options the only thing is some options take more time.. This wait until June seems like forever!

I just got my acceptance letter guys. For all of you on here try your darndest to get all of the points you can. If you get on the alternate list get your shot records done and go to intake. Good Luck to you all :).
