Anyone applying for RCC's Fall 2015 Nursing program?
Thought I'd start a thread to communicate about applying, TEAS, etc.
I don't believe so because if you have a different insurance provider that you use then I didn't think you needed to. I finished uploading all of my documents on the American Databank profile and all documents submitted have been approved. The only one is the second TB which I have to have read on Sunday. But I believe you don't have to meet with the health office, if you have your own insurance and are doing things elsewhere. I did however call to ask them if I could have everything done with Kaiser my provider, and they walked me through the things to make sure and get. Hope that helps.
Okay thank you! I'm on the same page as you. I just need my TB tests. On the Complio website it says we can get the second one the same day we get the first one checked off. But someone mentioned on here that it has to be after 1 week. do you know which is right?
I'm nervous about that too! I accepted the RN and in the same email I denied the LVN spot. I haven't got confirmation yet. I need to find out about the complio because I uploaded everything through VN title.
I'm too scared to deny the VN one but i'm just gonna do it today, so the next person in line can get accepted. When I accepted the RN one it took a few days for him to reply back to it. I don't think there should be a problem with your complio. Maybe they just need to switch the title.

Yout very welcome!! ☺Yes I went last Friday to have my other and I called the health center and spoke to one of the nurses. The two step TB needed to be one week apart she stated. I got my first done last Friday read on Sunday, and I'm repeating that process this week Friday new TB and reading Sunday.
I went to Kaiser on Wed. and had my physical and titers done. For the physical my Dr. signed the paperwork at that time, but he said they were going to hold on to the health forms and he would sign them off once the results for my titers were in. For TB he said option B was faster and easier to do, they just draw blood and test it, so you don't have to be checked twice like you do for option A. I'm already able to see results for mumps and measles online, so just waiting on the rest of them. It looks like I'm going to need the MMR shots because I'm not immune to measles, but I'll know for sure by next week when they call me to pick up my forms and get the rest of the results.

anyone gonna get a jump start on reading over summer and finding the best prices? So far Amazon looks like it has the best prices on used books.
