Hi there!
Welcome to the Forum for Prospective Nursing students starting in Spring of 2020.
The application period (subject to change and directly from RCC website) opens from the First Business day in September- the First Business day in October to apply for Spring.
Also, Please let me know if creating a Facebook group would be more streamlined.
Feel free to share questions, comments, concerns!
I applied for CEP and ADN for Spring 2020. If you apply to one are you automatically in contention for the other if you don't get into the other? I have CEP as my main go to as I already have a BA but I wouldn't mind ADN if that's the case.
I scored an 86 on TEAs and I have 76 points total if I calculated this correctly. I read in the Fall 2019 thread that some people actually got denied acceptance despite begin at or slightly above the cut off. I've only applied for one ADN/BSN program and this one is it!

I think they had more applicants in the fall...

Hi! Feeling hopeful, you?? Im hoping by mid october... I think the CEP finds out first, then adn, and last, lvn to rn... Is this the only school you applied to?

I don't know what I'm feeling!!! Lol! I was hoping to do better on the TEAS than what I actually got, so that bummed me out a bit. But I recalculated my points and found out I was calculating them wrong, so I'm feeling a bit better ?. I'm hoping we hear by mid-October also! I applied to MSJC's program as well and they said to be on the lookout for an email by October 10. From previous threads, I've read that RCC is a bit late with sending out their acceptance/rejection letters. I hope that's not the case this year! What about you, did you apply to any other schools?

Yes! This is my second time applying to RCC and MSJC... I had been denied because I had classes in progress... This time I decided to apply to different schools: Palomar, miracosta, COD, Chaffey, RCC, and MSJC
Can anyone comment on my strategy? I'm stuck between PA and BSN programs. PA program applications don't open until April 2020 and if I get into RCC Spring 2020 CEP/ADN I was thinking about riding the wave until I get a rejection or acceptance letter from a PA program.
Is this a stupid thing to do?

Hi! I know a few people who have gone through their program... Some say it’s good, others say it’s dependent on the instructor
