I got an alternate spot and am trying to start the immunization portion, but I am at a loss for what to do. I asked my doc for titers on MMR and Hep B just to start. Has anyone who received the acceptance or alternate letters and signed up for complio yet? I have to look for immunization records, but I am 30 and havent seen them since I graduated HS in 2007!! I am crossing my fingers that my mom still has them.

Do you mind if I ask how many points you got getting an alternate spot?

"Each Spring and Fall semester, 44-100 traditional and ADN/BSN Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) candidates are accepted into the ADN (RN) program"

This comes from TRADITIONAL ADN (RN)INFORMATION SHEET

How do you understand this 44-100? I feel like my brain is frozen these days

I THINK I applied with 69 but honestly I’m not sure if I’m calculating my points right. I did max out on the TEAS as I scored above a 90%

A few of the people I know that are in the CEP program are telling me that RCC's nursing program and staff are just giving their students the runaround and a lot of ***.

I keep hearing of several stories of meetings scheduled last minute, inflated data about NCLEX scores, and even lack of clinical trials when promised. From a cohort of about 90 students for the Fall 2019 period about 18 already dropped.

Can someone confirm this is true? I feel like I'm not going to be excited come Spring 2020.

Also, can I just show up to a MinuteClinic or RCC and get all my vaccinations and what not done? I haven't been to the doctor in years and don't even know where my records would be.

Hey guys I’m currently in the cep program and just saw that this thread had been started. If you guys do have any questions can message me on here if needed about the complio process and how financial aid worked for us for Fullerton at least. I’ll try to answer or give my email via private message for those who would like. But we’re going into our final weeks so will be hectic.

Just to go off Nikern to let it be known that we have only had 6 people drop from the cep cohort. Also that with the fall 2019 group we got a whole new curriculum so somethings were a trial at times. But no program can be perfect, I’ve come to learn that with rcc. Some things you don’t like and some things are great, but I think that can happen with any program.

Overall i love the price and convenience of the program but i wish more things had a set deadline. So many of us are waiting around on acceptance or denial emails. Not to mention the emails are vague.......

They have it honestly as 40 cep and 40 ADN but they probably give themselves a gap for extras just in case something happens. But each clinical instructor only gets 10 students and we have 8 clinical instructors split between us all. But only 4 teach us regularly as full time faculty if that helps make sense.
