Riverside City College (RCC) School of Nursing (SON) Spring 2020

Hi there!

Welcome to the Forum for Prospective Nursing students starting in Spring of 2020.

The application period (subject to change and directly from RCC website) opens from the First Business day in September- the First Business day in October to apply for Spring.

Also, Please let me know if creating a Facebook group would be more streamlined.

Last semester the CEP cut off was 61 points, the ADN was around 76. Have some faith and try to keep busy! 78 points is great! People have gotten in with less.

Thanks for the encouragement, I didn’t hear them mention any of that at the info sessions. All I heard was that it’s competitive.

I rushed to my mailbox after work today and there was a letter from RCC. It was just my enrollment verification I ordered. Ugh! My heart was racing! Lol — I’m pretty sure they notify us by email.

Has anyone applied to San Bernardino and Mt San Jacinto as well?

I applied to SBVC and am waiting to hear back if I am invited to take the HESI. I wanted to apply for MSJC, but didn't have the transcript request in on time. You?

I applied to both. I just havent heard a peep from either and wasnt sure if I was the only one. I tried looking up forums for those schools but didnt see any. I figured I would ask here, just in case. All this radio silence is KILLING ME

@Mtrudeau I also applied to MSJC. I was super late in submitting my paperwork, (like I think I may have been the last candidate to do so), and the lady I submitted it to said I should hear back from them by October 10. The application also said to be on the lookout within 15-30 days after the end of the application period.

I was told we should here back between Oct 10-16

Has anybody heard ANYTHING from the rcc nursing staff? Anybody know how many applicants there are for cep?

I haven't heard anything, yet... To my understanding, we should start receiving emails on Oct 11...
