Riverside City College (RCC) School of Nursing (SON) - Spring 2020

Hi there!

Welcome to the Forum for Prospective Nursing students starting in Spring of 2020.

The application period (subject to change and directly from RCC website) opens from the First Business day in September- the First Business day in October to apply for Spring.

Also, Please let me know if creating a Facebook group would be more streamlined.

Feel free to share questions, comments, concerns!

I have no idea how many are in the CEP application pool. But I've heard every semester there are about 1000 applicants overall. So the CEP program would be a smaller pool. I think the smallest application pool is the VN-RN applicants.

We should all know by the end of next week! It's getting close!

I applied to both and got one email stating the notification date was 10-11-19. Says the same on the board in the nursing building.

Also just saw this when they sent the Teas notification.

"

The TEAS is required for the 2 year ADN and Concurrent Enrollment program, not the VN-RN program. If you also applied for VN-RN you will need to take the Advanced Placement exam.

Decisions on enrollment will be made between October and mid-December.

I never got an email stating that and I applied to both as well ?

My mistake, I just checked and the email confirming receipt of ADN application actually states notification by November. The one regarding the Teas says between october - December. Then inside the nursing building it says on a board by Oct 11. So who knows. Lol The waiting continues ???

I don't have an email of any kind from RCC SON about them giving a rejection/denial letter end of this week. I'm too nervous to ask Mr. **** to send put me on the list...
