I just took my TEAS and got a 74% because of internet problems and didn’t get enough time to finish my reading portion. I really feel discouraged to send in my application now, but it is what it is. I'll be sending in my application Wednesday. Good luck to us all!! ??

It's okay, you'll get them this time or next time! the only thing you need to keep in mind is you did the best that you could and prepped for it as much as you can!

Is anyone in this forum or reading it, has anyone previously applied to Cerritos college? If so, did you guys get that email they sent out on Friday in regards to a special Spring 2022 admissions opportunity?

Thank you so much for those kind words! Good luck to everyone who applied!<3

Hi all, I also applied to Rio Hondo and Cypress this round. Good luck to all of us!

Hi guys,

I went to the nursing information session and I was informed that RHC is only accepting 30 students this semester for the ADN program, 10 less than they normally do because the clinical sites are more limited because of COVID. ?

My stats are not as good as some of the others I am seeing on this thread, but here are mine if anyone else wants to share, too:

Science GPA: 3.4

Overall GPA: 3.4

Associates Degree

Phlebotomy (CPT1 License)

over 200+ hours of direct patient care hours as a caretaker for adults with developmental disabilities

Spanish

2 life experiences

85% on the TEAS (although, I am not too sure this adds to your score other than being a requirement to get above 62%)

I think you have great chance to be accepted. Your GPA is not high but you have experience which most schools prefer and it is a trend that RN programs are prone to follow.

My stats:

Science GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA: 4.0

Associates Degree

Certificate of nurse assistant, without hours

Bilingual

2 life experiences

80.7% on the TEAS

My stats for Rio Hondo:

  • Science GPA: 4.0
  • Overall GPA: 3.8 (I think)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Bilingual
  • 3 Life Experience
  • 200+ Volunteering Hours
  • Work Experience as Behavior Therapist (not sure if it counts)
  • 82.7% on the TEAS

Since we are sharing.

3.6 science

3.8 overal

74.7 TEAS

200+ work experience

3 life experience

AA degree

bilingual

My stats:

  • Science GPA: 4.0
  • Overall GPA: 3.7
  • NO degree (I did apply for my AA but they took too long to post it)
  • Bilingual
  • 4 Life Experiences
  • Work experience in the medical field around emergency room patients
  • 75.3% on TEAS Exam

IDK but a lot of you guys have me beat ahaha. Good luck to us all.

just received the email that they got my application.  so I am guessing by Oct 29 some will find out if they get acceptance into the program because that's the zoom meetings.

My stat is 4.0 science GPA, 4.0 overall GPA, 85.3pecent TEAS, volunteers hours, no degree, 3 life experiences.  I know the no degree might keep me out of the program, there's gotta be those 30 students out there who got everything.

Honestly for me I applied to Mt Sac and Rio but mt sac is mt top choice as the program is better in terms of support.
