Rio Hondo ADN Program Spring 2022

awesome! do you know if I still have to send a copy of my hs diploma even if I have earned my AA already?. Also, I do not see how the points are broken down for the multi-criteria selection? other schools usually have how the points are distributed 

As long as on your transcripts it states you have your AA then you don't have to. As for the point system I tried to look everywhere and I cannot find it anywhere. I swear I seen it once so I know it does exist I just cant find it for some reason. but once I find it I will definitely post it.

You might be getting it confused with Mt Sac's multi-screen criteria sheet. Rio Hondo's College is almost word-to-word exactly the same but without the point value. Nobody knows if it is the same point value or completely different.

This is the closest thing you can get to the point value for Rio Hondo.

You might be right. Sorry im applying to like 8 programs so I could possibly be confusing it for another program.

okay great! I thought we can also provide our official transcripts. I also ended up emailing the nursing department and they said the following: 

“We do not share how we award the points, only what we award points for”

what is your TEAS score and GPA status if you don't mind me asking, I m new, I be taking TEAS on the 13th.

Thats different, I wonder why? All I know is for the section where we can choose up to 5 I chose 4. Also just sent out my Application and documents today. Good luck to everyone.

I’ll be applying to Rio soon as well. Their process is ambiguous and confusing. Does anyone now about the part in the application about the essay part. I understand we have to write one on a separate page but what do we put in the box just the subject matter?

Also I called and if you have volunteer hours to turn in you ask your superior at the hospital/ clinic to email you a copy of the letter and add it to your application. I would call a again but the person is very short with you. Thanks!

You should take a look at this sheet. It tells you the supporting documents for everything in the application and what needs to be included for each individual criteria. Additionally, there is no essay unless you are referring to the personal statement which further instructions are also included in this as well.

Also, could you please clarify on what box you are referring to? The only boxes I see are for: personal information, education, languages, and ATI TEAS Results.

Oh thank you! For some reason I have a hard time navigating their particular website I think it’s my computer loading it weird. 
I see what your referring to, again my computer/program whatever loaded weird so everything was misaligned! 

I’m now looking at it on my phone and for some reason it works on here I understand now thank you again!
