Hi everyone! I am making this forum because I see that it hasn't been done yet. feel free to post anything related to the nursing program process

does anyone know how to prove that my parents did not go to school?  I am not religious nor in any eops or upper bound?

Hey guys I have a question! I’m not from rhc so I don’t know how this is supposed to work. I applied for my student ID and I sent my official transcripts to admissions and records... am I supposed to get my prerequisites reviewed by a counselor or is just sending them fine? Thank you!

I think it’s best to speak to a counselor also to make sure the prerequisites meet the requirements because each school is different and not all classes are the same.

Nursing info session said you can have someone write a letter proving and stating you’re first generation student. Examples like teachers, priests and stuff like that.

the prerequisites are listed on their website for Rio Hondo college.  you can always use assist.org to check or a counselor.  if you don't need it check, you can just submit them to nursing program and their admission and records.

Yes! Send it directly from ATI. Send your transcript from ATI to Rio Hondo. And you can call nursing dept to check if they received it.

does anyone know how to proof low income family? I read the instruction on RHC website but I still wonder how to prove it? CA College Promise Grant paid for my tuition so can I print a screenshot then attach it with the application?

I just took a screenshot of my BOG waiver and sent it in with my application. I added post its on everything just to clarify what everything was.

Hey guys! I was curious about what documents you attached to your applications. I was reading through the requirements and it says social security number or itin number and right after it has “attach copy” in parentheses. Did you guys provide a copy of your ssn or is that only for itin number? Also are we supposed to attach transcripts to the application? I’ve already sent all my transcripts to admissions but on the application it asks if I’m attaching transcripts or not, so I’m a bit confused.
