Hi everyone,
I currently go to Mt. Sac at the moment and will finish all my ADN pre-requistes for Rio Hondo this summer. As for the selection criteria they use overall, I feel that my application will be highly competitive. However, my definition of competitiveness is probably different from others. I was wondering for anyone who currently attends or previously attended the ADN program at Rio Hondo to state your applicant profile (overall GPA, science GPA, volunteer hours, any previous degree, and experience). Thanks, it would help me and many others who are hopeful in entering the ADN program at Rio Hondo College. :)
Oh I got my clinical at presbayterian intercomm hosp. I wish I got the Arcadia one because is closer to my house.
Hi Andrew, so we are in the same hosp for clinical..
See u soin guys
You should call them and see if you can still request it. It looks like there are still a lot of spots available. I think a lot of students haven't been cleared yet... There's no harm in trying! Explain that you live closer to Arcadia and having a closer clinical site would give you more time to study.

I asked them but they said student can't request clinical site unless if u are already in the program.. Well.. Hopefully everythings going well
veteran get very high priority. from what you provided, you have a very high chance to get in. if not first round, pretty much 2nd round they will call you.are you going for the LVN bridge? if so, that will be more competitive and only during march they accept application.
Not true... I barely got provisionally accepted at the last minute and I'm a veteran with a 3.71 prereq GPA and a previous degree...
