Rio Hondo ADN Nursing Program

Hi everyone,

I currently go to Mt. Sac at the moment and will finish all my ADN pre-requistes for Rio Hondo this summer. As for the selection criteria they use overall, I feel that my application will be highly competitive. However, my definition of competitiveness is probably different from others. I was wondering for anyone who currently attends or previously attended the ADN program at Rio Hondo to state your applicant profile (overall GPA, science GPA, volunteer hours, any previous degree, and experience). Thanks, it would help me and many others who are hopeful in entering the ADN program at Rio Hondo College. :)

Jeli 42 are u dine with all "to do list" things. Did u register already? How we can get the CRN number to register?

Almost! Just got my last TB test today. They'll read it on Friday so I plan to scan in the paperwork on Friday. Not sure if the office is open on Friday. Have you called them? They said once we have everything done, they would give us our CRN number.

I heard they are close on Friday, but ----------- said she'll be there so just give her a call. Not sure too. I'm also waiting for my xray done on either Thursday or Friday

Are you talking about ----------from the Health Center? Sorry I should've been more clear. I was referring to the nursing office not the health center.

I actually had to go to a CVS minute clinic for my 2nd TB test because I was told the Health Center would be closed and they wouldn't be able to read my TB test.

I emailed --------------- regarding clearance so I'll let you know what she says. I'm also gonna call them tomorrow to ask.

Not yet. Did you turn in everything? Even the passport photos? I went to the office on Wed and she said they'll be clearing people and I should get an email this week.

Yes I did. I'm done with everything except my 2nd hepB vaccine which is due on june 17. Is the office still open next week?

Funny mine is due the same day! Should be open but call first. You dropped off your photos then right? If so, you will get an email this week.

Actually mine is due June 14 not 17. Haha. I was mixing it up with the first day of class. Oh good! So I should be getting it soon too :) I can't wait either!
