reviewing at pentagon for nle??

Take a moment to think about what you posted. If they are involved in cheating scandal, then you will be considered among them. Especially if you are walking in knowing completely about what happened. And then you become part of it.

The only way to get them to stop doing what they did is for no one to go to their programs.

Right now, there are over 17,000 nurses that passed the exam this past summer, but they cannot even get a Visa Screen Certificate to work in the US based on that exam..............how would someone want to give money to someone that helped cause the scandal in the first place?

Sorry, but makes no sense to me.

i think you already know the other 2 review centers that were implicated since you already mentioned one. it was the nbi that reported (and made their recommendations) to the court of appeals if you could remember.

hello.. i am a graduating nursing student and i would just like to ask regarding reviewing for the upcoming june 2007 nursing licensure examination. i would like to know if it is okay to review at pentagon eventhough they are involved in the previous leakage issue. it would be a great help if you would reply and give me your views about this. thanks in adavnce.. god bless!

if i were you, i will never consider any of those review centers who are named in the leak scandal. you might wanna stay from them or you will have a hard time looking for a job later on. just think about it.

And to throw this in to the pot: Employers are now asking about the review center that the nurse attended in many cases, and if you went to one on their list, you will not be hired. That simple, does not matter if you were the top student in your program.

The review centers that are involved, everyone knows that cheating is going on there, and if you still want to go there, knowing that, then you are never going to get a job, especially overseas.

The choice is yours to make, you asked us and we gave you the information. But if you decide to go your route, please do not come and ask for help when you are unable to get hired anywhere.

Consider yourself warned.

[color=#708090]ur first question was if its ok to review at pentagon for the nle right? i can say that pentagon is one of the best review centers in town, it's just that the issue put a blood streak on their name.. as we all know all the yada yada yada in the issue last june.. i still went to pentagon for my review.. i took the nle just this dec.. and u know what.. take it from me.. they are good.. intelligent and their program for the review, i really liked it.. and i can even say that there are much more things that i learned in the review than from what i have had in my school.. and also, they are the only review center who can make reviewing easy and with fun!!! i wont forgetr those "pentagays"

well my advised is for you to think about it.. i took the nle last dec and had my review at pentagon.. i can say that pentagon is one of the best review centers in town.. i tried to visit some of the other review centers around manila and i believe nothing does it better than the "pentagays"...

i believe in them.. i really liked their program of the review and the way they do it.. it really made an impact on me.. motivation and a real big time help.. i can even say that i learned more things from them than that of what i have had in my school.. they are intelligent and really good persons and they even make lessons easy to recall and at the same time having fun while reviewing..

their forte is i think pscych, ms, pedia and community.. well i think that's almost all of the subj in the nle..

u'll surely wont regret if u choose them.. and i did not..

but it will still be your decision..

i believe with their talent.. and i know there are a lot of nurses in the us right now who took their nle and even nclex or cgfns review at penta..

But your issue is that the center is well known for their cheating tactics. By going there, you put yourself in the pile with them. Bad mistake.

Just because you thought that they were wonderful, does not mean that one other person should go along with what you have done. All you have done is give them money to continue their practices. And not a smart thing to do.

You will also have problems in the future with work in the US, hospitals that are in the know are asking where the nurse reviewed, if that is your goal.

CGFNS is now doing an evaluation...............please do not tell someone to do something that you know nothing about.

PLEASE.....

The world is a much smaller place than it was in the past, with the internet and news reporting. People in the USA are concerned with the quality and standards of education of foreign graduates coming to work here. Mistakes can and will take lives.

Think about it, would you associate yourself with a known bank robber or drug addict. Do you want to be associated with a center that has a reputation for cheating. Hospitals do ask questions about where someone has studied, human resource people that hire foreign graduates are familar with the stories that have been reported, they read newspapers and people will send them articles. Hospitals, pay large sums of money when petitioning and training RN's they want the best people. Hospitals want people that have integrity and know their material, so they can provide the highest quality of care to their patients. You will need to put into practice what you have learned, so cheating won't help when you have to face situations on the floor in the hospital. During your interview the hospital staff will ask you questions and you don't want to lie about where you reviewed. If you provide them with a review center that is linked to leakages they will assume that you knew about it because of all the press coverage. It is better to be cautious and stay away from review centers that have been linked to leakages. Everything you need to know is in the Saunders Comprehensive Review for NCLEX 3rd edition. Get a group of your fellow students together and study on your own, don't waste your money and reputation by being associated with a company that has been associated with leakages. It is all about making the right choices in life, you have invested too much to get your training.... do not take chances with your career be cautious.

with due respect, the issue is that everyone know these 3 review centers that were implicated in the june 2006 nle leak.

i'm sure there were past reviewers that are already in the us but that is not the point because there were no leaks on past nles. there are no issues for past nle passers - only the june 2006 batch and the next batches that will still enroll w/ these 3 review centers.

the issue is there was a leak in the june 2006 boards and those 3 were implicated and employers will be asking why nurses keep going and enrolling to these review centers besides the fact that they were already implicated and if you put yourself in the employer's shoes you would presume that what some nurses are after are really the "leaks". pls. think about it.

i do hope you get our point and if suzanne says that employers that know of these and will ask about it she really means it and she knows what she's saying. believe me.

come to think of it.. those who will still enroll w/ those 3 besides fully knowing now that they are implicated in the june 2006 nle leak will automatically be doubted and presumed to enroll w/ those 3 to purposely get hold of another leak whether its really the case or not. that will be the presumption of the employers now and this is what suzanne is trying to tell.

thank you for all the replies.. they are all well appreciated. but i would like to ask if do you have any suggestions on where to go for a review for the nle? because honestly, my foundation from my school right now is not that good and i know that i have a lot more things to know about wherein self review wouldn't really be of good help. i need some enlightenment about this. thanks.. :confused: :saint: :paw:
