Reviewing for NCLEX RN???

Published

Hey everyone! I have a couple of questions that I hope you all might be able to answer. First, how long in advance did you start studying, and do you think it is reasonable to schedule my NCLEX RN for the first of June if I haven't started reviewing yet. I plan to start reviewing 4-26-10. Thanks!!

If you are well prepared from nursing school, that might be a good plan. But if you just got by in nursing school, that might not be enough time to learn or relearn the material. Only you know how well prepared you are before you begin your review.

Good luck.

I think you must do more than review nursing material (I'm assuming), you must understand and study NCLEX "hot topics" by answering thousands of nclex type questions. There are hundreds of post in this forum addressing what material to study, take a look.

i think u should practise bit more,,the more u practise the more u become confident. its up to u..it generally takes times to be familiar with questions.......and and u need to repeat questions a lot...

good luck

I think it depends on you readiness and knowledge base. I personally dont understand why people study for months before taking the exam, esp will all the exit exams a majority of schools have students graduating take. I moved uo my NCLEX from May 10 to tomorrow just because I dont see myself gaining much more knowledge in 2 weeks, but I was the class Valedictorian as well.

You should base your decision of what you feel is right and how comfortable you are, not what everyone else thinks you should do. Good luuck!
