Review University for Nurses

Not one of these wonderful review centers actually have written their own material, they have taken it from other sources and in violation of US Copyright Law as well. They take bits and pieces from all over and then put their name on it.

And then there is the issue with the instructors, most have no work experience at all. And some have even had their licenses and visas revoked in the US, but are back in Manila and teaching there.

Bad all of the way around, any way that you slice it.

There is not one thing that they are going to do to help you pass that you could not do on your own, and if they have illegal copies of exams, then you are set up to be prosecuted as well.

I taken my review in RUN in 2004 for my CGFNS Exam, luckily i passed

my first try, u need to combine self study at home and review classes and from what i

know they are the cheapest review center in manila, i might be back there again this year

its so disgusting to know that some nclex, cgfns, ietls reviewers/lecturers are not even certified passer on the field they are teaching! :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire

DO NOT EVER EVER ENROLL IN R.U.N. I spend P8t there and GOT NOTHING!!! FACILITIES ARE NOT GOOD at all and the Instructors are Below Par!! Dont waste your money!

Where are u located? someone posted here about the student and teacher ratio, there is a very excellent center based in the province which i enrolled in and its really great. Accomodation is great and students are Very Limited per class. :)

php 8,000? when did you enroll? i never known of r.u.n. having fees below 10k. other review centers are 13-15k.]

Um.. I know that I'm biased if I'll say that Merge is a good review center. But, really, it is..

I reviewed here last April to May 2008,

and based on my experience, I had a great time in this review center and I also learn a lot (knowledge that I wasn't able to learn in school).

They treated us well (I love their treatment.. "alagang-alaga" :) They alot 2 Review assistants/R.As per section that would guide us, hear our concerns, caught the attention of our classmate if they've seen one who is not attentive/sleeping, report to their superior about the section, etc.) and their reviewers are good.

Their pre-board really prepared us for the actual board examination.

There's a balance of fun and learning in this review center. :)

But our schedule is somewhat hard/hectic: 8am-5pm Monday-Sunday (but sometimes, we have a review breather - but for 2months, we only had 4 review breathers?). - but I think, next season's schedule is much better.

as for the ratio, 1 reviewer: 200 (but I heard in other section, they had 300+ max. but in our section, there are only 148 students; we're missionary section because of venue's fault, so doc adjusted or deducted the number of students from 200 down to 148 :))

Um..the years of experience as a Student nurse would help a lot in the exam. Review centers are just there to guide us or to supplement our knowledge in this field.

Sorry, but a review with 200 hundred students? That is a joke?

That is not how things should be done at all.

This is now getting off topic from what was being discussed.

And do believe that this thread has run its course. There are too many issues from the name on down, and one can easily make their own choice after reading here.

Thread being closed since nothing new is being offered.

Take the time to thoroughly investigate each program that you are considering and do not base anything because so and so went there, that does not mean a thing.
