I graduated from nursing school in May 2004, and I failed boards three times. I am getting ready to retake them for the first time in 5 years within the next 2 months and I am signing up for the Hurst Review. Does anyone have any advice or tips for me?
hey RNHURT,
what tips or materials are you talking about....I'm testing in two and half wks and I have done hurst review, and nclex 4000 but have not helped me pass the test my last two times. If you have any suggestions here is my email [email protected]
:) thanks
I am ok. I feel sad but I still have the fighting spirit in me. Last night I started studying after I got a bad pop up. I wont give up my dreams. I never have this feeling that I don't feel depressesed after learning that I failed. Right now I feel like organizing my way of studying. More study and prayer. I know I have my time too.
To Joe17, I know you can make it. Good luck on your exam. I believe in you.

I am really determined to conquer my fears and pass the NCLEX. My little girl is my inspiration. Now that I'm a mom I realized that we follow our parents footsteps. I would like to be a good example to her to never give up on reaching for her dreams.
Here are some amazing quotes:
If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking.
Don’t be discouraged. It’s often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock.
Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.

I am a fairly new member here but I passed NCLEX with 75 questions. I can help you with some tips and materials. You can send me private message.
I did hurst review but I got another review by judy miller which are very expensive videos. I combined them to make my own notes. I hated Kaplan and ncsbn.
I am a practicing tele/ortho RN.
hope this helps.
