Retake test failed (Batch June 2006), question (?)

Hi guys i hope someone can answer me, my friend has taken her retake test last year. She is a board passer of Batch June 2006. However, she failed her retake test, possibly because she's already working that time and wasn't able to focus more on her review. anyway, I'm just wondering if her license is still valid c/o june 2006 even though she failed her retake test? we're planning of working abroad and this concerns me. Anyone who has an idea?

for updates regarding this matter, the bon has passed a resolution that one cannot just surrender the license one obtain in the june 2006 as the deadline ends already from june 2007 - december 2008 only.

If you have a link, a memo (in pdf format), pls. kindly post it here as there are some that thinks otherwise and had claimed that they were able to re-take (the whole exam this time and by forfeting their license) even after the deadline.

hi! im just wondering any other experiences of that batch have? i have the same situation as well i belong to june 06 batch and when i did the retake for part 3 and 5 i failed it...those times were so difficult for me coz i have to pay to what other people has done and i dont even know if they are suffering just as much as we do.. i also would want to work in other country but now its beginning to be impossible since US Canada and now its new to me that even Australia dont allow june 06 batch..im actually frustrated now that im having difficulty in finding a job again..

i have another concern what if june 06 batch who failed the retake exam gain citizenship through marriage is he/she still needs to take visascreen? although im not advising to do it..what if it would happen? thanks

Tokwa, if you are a US Citizen you don't have to produce a local board license, however you'll have to pass any CGFNS requirements as your education is from outside the USA.

they telling to you is not true... my Friend is working now in canada but he failed in retake in june 2006. only thing he has 3 years exp and passed other requirement. also in australia that humor that they don;t accepted june 06 is not true, only also that all nurses philippines are not qualified now to work in australia they need to study again there to be qualified..

yah but when my friend go in prc they still allowed him to revoke his license if he want too then retake the exam again. But he decided to not to do it, because he already now qualified to work in canada..

Hi Im a June '06 passer, wrote the exams (all of it) in December 07.

It is horribly hard to find a job with that license here in the Philippines. Though its made clear by the Professional Regulation Commission that the 2006 license (no retake or failed partial retake) is valid, hospitals are quite picky.

It was a good decision for me to take the full exams again. If not for that, I wouldnt be able to land a job in Alberta.

My batchmates bound to Canada who were partial retakers had to submit a DOLE document indicating they had a partial retake.

I suggest to your friend to write the exams again. There are a lot of updates now, including Community Health, Psych and Prof AD. Best of 'Luck!

i think if you are jun 06 or not, are all the same... when i read pinoybsn site, 91% who take nursing overall are nurse now.. is really difficult to find Job in philippines. but luckily all my friends who are june 06 are already in canada or UAE.. take note some of them don't passed retake but they passed CRNE the most important them all because is canada nursing examination is more important than nle..

it depends to your TOR and school you came from, i realize TOR and school are very important foundation today and passing nle is only first step. 91% who take nursing are already nurses as prc mentioned.
