Retake of Lifespan 2 ...last one before FCCA & CPNE

Published

Tomorrow is the day. I have my last exam before FCCA & CPNE. I am retaking it. Very uptight!! I keep reading the material (study101, minney's & L Arends) Not sure I am getting the material. I passed the last 3 exams by studying test questions and material from these sources. All I want is a 70, only time will tell. Well, back to studying.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banghead:

booziemgm2,

I wish you the best. I am just starting the program and really don't know what to study. I am thinking of purchasing all the books from excelsior or amazon... and using them. I keep reading about study notes 101, and L Arends but don't quit understand where you get them or how that works either. If you or anyone else could steer me in the right direction I would apprecitate it very much.

Again, best of luck to you, I am sure you will do great. I heard (read) that the practice exams are good also, have you tried them?

Don't bang your head too hard, you will need it for your test. :)

Frankslove, you really can't go wrong with some of the textbooks. For notes (which are a nice supplement, but not and end-all, be-all of materials, in my opinion) can be found at http://www.studygroup101.com or http://myworld.ebay.com/larends. There are some stickies about Excelsior at the top of this forum that you might find useful.

And to the OP -- good luck on your exam!! :)

Best of luck to you. Sending good vibes your way...Traci

Thanks for the advice I ordered most of the books from EC last night and will check out these for more notes. Going back to work on Monday. Did you work while you were doing this? I guess just study on any down time and weekends. Are the test as hard as I'm thinking?

Thanks again.

I work three 12-hour shifts a week, so I did nothing but study the other four days each week. It allowed me to finish in just over a year. The exams aren't easy, but studying definitely helps. ;)

Wow, that's great. I only work PRN but just picked up a gig for the next 8 weeks to help with the holidays. I recently just stepped out of a traditional program so I'm thinking the first exam may not be as difficult as I'm thinking but still want to study the material first. Seems like I have such a long way to go. Do they have study material for the FCCA (whatever that is)?

You are a real inspiration to a lot of people on this forum. Hope you stick around. :)
