Residencies that accept ADN in Georgia

U.S.A. Georgia

Does anyone know if Emory or anyone else for that matter accepts new graduates with associate degrees? I've also checked into Piedmont, Regional, DeKalb Medical & CitySide Healthcare. I really want to get into a residency versus getting hired straight on, but I don't know what the odds are if I get an ADN. Someone please give me any information or advice you may have. I'm also wondering would it be easy to just get a regular job as an RN or will it be extremely hard here in Georgia. All comments appreciated!

Did you end up taking an offer somewhere else? Was there something wrong with Northside that I should know about?

Northside is a great hospital!

Oh ok, I live in Augusta so I'm not familiar with Northside at all :)

northside is good, but the dollar per hour pay wasn't as good as piedmont. the retirement plan though is better at northside.

Very good to know, thanks for the info!!

Athens Regional just started a residency program and they accept ADN/ASN. My class graduated may 8 with approx 50 students. Almost all of us have been hired by one of the local hospitals, most before we took the NCLEX.

Wow that is amazing! I will definitely be checking into them when the time comes. Let me know how you guys like it.

Not sure if you are still looking, but MCCG in Macon hires ADN new grads. They are Level One Trauma, and a huge facility.
