i graduated 2 yrs ago BSN in cebu city philippines..my question is that what are the requirements that you'll be eligible to work in australia?how much does it cost?
because some of my batchmates are already in there without taking the local boards..the last time they said to me was that they already graduated their 2year program and now they become an RN in australia..

hi there I also want to work there Im RN since 2010 and i really want to fulfill my aussie dream. haha, and the only thing I have is that it cost way too much and that i will have to borrow money from my relatives..
DO you also plan in getting a student Visa?
i think it is very costly when you want a student visa..as far as i know if someone you have a friend or relative in australia, they might give you a letter of invitation either a student or tourist visa..but the disadvantage of having a tourist visa is that the embassy only gives you 3 months (better hope for a multiple entry)..and if you are a tourist visa, you can ask for a letter of invitation to someone you know and they may help you to give a job within 3mos or else you have to renew your visa again..if they can give you a job within 3mos, they might change your tourist into a working..but hey that is all i know whether i give the right info or not
i currently living now in california and it is sad to say that i failed my ncelx 3times but i dont want to give up mu nursing career..maybe my luck here in US is not the right place..but im happy to say that if these plan to australia happens,me,my brother and our girlfriend, who also a nursing graduates, will live happily in one roof,.hahaha..but im still finding a job as a caregiver so that before i leave here,i have some money to spend wisely when i'll be ready to go back to the phils

Oh no, so sorry about unable to still pass NCLEX, I noticed you're in CA, are you affected by the concurrency issue? Since I see you were able to take the exam 3 times, I guess not? So I take it, CA BON is able to give you the ATT? Good luck in your nursing career!
steppybay: apparently i applied my stateboard in new mexico..we have an agency in the phils that are accredited here in any state..and as far as i know about the issue regarding this retrogression,it is hard to find such job like as a caregiver or any sort of jobs that related to my course..but im still keeping my hopes up that i can land a job before i leave here in the US...
