Need career advise
i'd posted few threads here and this one is very different situation than those other threads.. since i failed my nclex for the 3rd time, i was thinking that i want to pursue my nsg career in different countries but the biggest factor is the money..i feel that maybe my nsg career here in US maybe not a destiny but an experience on how hard you study for the nclex..this forum helps me and expands my understanding about our fellow nurses' situation... back to my current situation,i'd agreed to my parents that if i can't make it the 4th time for this exam,i might as well go back to the philippines.. now the reason that i'll go back to the phils are: 1.australia nursing jobs 2.i might change path of my career for awhile and go to qatar to work with my cousins(any kind of work as long as pay is good..) 3.will work on a call center for extra income, taking the boards and IELTS in which the australia needs but before i leave here in the US,im still working right now as a caregiver and working in a facility so that i have income.. i thank god so much that i have a family, relatives and a great gf that supports me and understands my plan..and i thank god also for giving me the mindset and the plan for my future..i have a state of desperation right now but i always try to calm myself and i did.. i always thinking about the seminar that i always go with my uncle and aunt(actually their working place has this seminar about financial and career paths)that in this time, not all people can pursue a career with tunnel vision without any alternate routes and if you want to make more money, then do something about it..and there maybe people that succeed but it has their ending road but if you want to continue on what you love, then do something about it.. now don't get me wrong,i love my career but im not in that level yet and in order for me to continue,i might as well change path for awhile..

New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
TO JEDFORT: how much is that BP?how can i be eligible to that program?im sorry for too much questions cuz if someone could help me,i would help as well those who are in the same situation as mine..it is better to establish myself in an early age.. and what will be the next step after BP?

New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
hi guys..wow this thread is so long already...anyway,im a grad nurse 2yrs ago from the philippines and i haven't taken the board exam..right now im going take my nclex the 4th time around and probably this will be my last shot cuz according to our agency right back in our country, each applicant who failed their nclex 4x in one year, you have to RE-APPLY again within a year..so im not going to wait that long because i've been here in California right after I graduated and studying my butt off in almost 2 years..me and my parents both agreed that if i can't pass this last one,i'll be heading to AUSTRALIA to pursue my career in nursing..cuz right now california can't hire even those who passed the nclex and the USA is in retrogression.. I heard and read any article or news that australia will hire an RN or not an RN whether w/ or w/o experience... my brother's gf have a few friends that graduated (same school as mine) and they are already in australia and they said that they already graduated of some sort of nursing program for 2 yrs and now they are a nurse(similar story of my cousin who is in scotland)...they didn't took the local boards and they didn't have any working experience in any hospital(well except since were in school and assigned us in different hospitals for our duty).. so here's my questions: WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS HOW MUCH IT COST(AUD currency) WHO'S GOING TO ASSIST US IF WE ARE THERE hopefully you guys can answer my questions and give my advices..i'm 24 y.o already worked here as a live-in caregiver and worked in long term care facility and i don't want to stick this kind of job..as finding an employer to petition me,well it is difficult..THANKS GUYS
