Hello Everyone,

I am starting the post for anyone applying to Remington College of Nursing for the 2nd Degree Accelerated Bachelors of Nursing program in Lake Mary Florida. If you currently or previously attended RCON will join is as well.

oh, wait just kidding... Chemistry is included (was thinking about another school I applied for) but they do count A&P, micro, chem, stats, sociology or psych, and human growth and development or developmental psych. That is what the admissions packet states

I don't think the actual program will be nearly as stressful as all the unknowns of applying to one!

Queens university in Charlotte, NC and (I live in Kentucky) So I applied to Bellarmine here but its really expensive. Remington is the only one that starts in January and my number one choice!

Hi Magrattie,

You MUST get that science GPA up by December otherwise you will not get final acceptance! They have a separate science GPA calculation for Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology and Chemistry. A minimum of 2.75 is required. You still have some time. Email me at [email protected] and I can give you some hints on where to get a repeat of any science quickly so that you can make it for January 2015. Best of luck.

Oh I forgot to mention that they do not waive that Science GPA requirement because of their accreditation and agreements with the board of nursing so you have to meet it.

That's a pretty retriever you've got! I have to be in Heathrow because of the school zone. I have an 11 year old. Timing is everything with your boyfriend changing jobs. Hopefully you will get provisional early acceptance pending your Statistics.

Thank you! He's my baby! I heard heathrow has a wonderful school system! Yes, we are very nervous about the timing... But if it's meant to be it will work out!
