I just relocated to NY from California. I
turned in my paperwork in October, it
got lost and I had to resend it in Dec.
Now how long does it take? they keep
saying 2wks, but i need to work! They
have all the paperwork but the "Evaluator"
has to go over it.
So How long does it take?

If you sent it to Albany, sometimes paperwork gets done FAST and sometimes so slow you can't believe it.
When I was dealing with ATTs, new licensing this past summer, I found a phone call clued me in more than anything else on the status of my stuff. Remember to be VERY courteous, very nice, and I had it returned :)
Good luck to you...and welcome to NY!!

Welcome to New York! I have just relocated here myself and I am still looking for a job... Anyways, the processing of NYC license is less than a month. I suggest that you call the NY boards to follow it up to be sure that they are already evaluating your papers. Good luck!:nuke:

Hey.. sorry if I sound stupid but what paperwork are we required to submit when relocating?
I currently have MA RN license and I applied to NYU fall semester, admissions told me that I need to show evidence of holding an active NY RN license before enrolled. I don't have to retake NCLEX in order to do that do I ? I mean, there should be ways to endorse one's license. However, I just went on the NY BON website but I can't find any information regarding this. It'll be great if someone can point me to the right direction. Thanks!

I hope you have gotten it by now but my advice to you is to send it overnight and send a return overnight envelope to them as well.
