What did you graduate with? An associate degree or BSN? You would have to get licensed as an RN in the state you want to work in. Some states will not accept Excelsior for initial nursing education such as California. If you want to earn a BSN, you will usually need to get a nursing license and then talk to schools to see if they will accept Excelsior credit for transfers.

One big issue is do you have a green card, or a legal status that permits you to work in the US? The second issue, is do you have an Associates degree or a Bachelor's in Nursing?

I am in a Citizen of USA and current resident of Texas state and just passed my NCLEX RN ,I am sorry for not providing enough information about me and I am having a Associate degree in nursing but I am a foreign medical graduate from India Due to Family issues could not prepare for USMLE chose to do ADN from Excelsior College as they allowed foreign medical graduate to do associate degree in nursing.

Thanks and may God bless you those who tried to help me

I would begin looking at different programs in the area and see what they will require. University of Texas at Arlington is a popular one around the US. Each school is different. University of Louisiana at Lafayette is another popular one. I did Ohio University online and have no complaints but I don't know if they accept Texas applicants.
