Recovery Trek urine testing in Texas

Nurses Recovery

Published

Hopefully have a job soon. Just curious if anyone can help give advice about urine testing in Texas. I have at least once weekly for 3 months, then at least biweekly for 3 months, and then at least monthly for 6. Has anyone ever had two in one week? What happens if you travel out of the country? What about labs? Can you use any? How much do they cost? Any I do would be very helpful!!

Check with your lab resources, they can supply you all the information you might need.

Who is that? My order says use recovery trek but when I log onto their site they have very little info. Also, I was wondering what happens when I go out of town and stuff. Only asking as I have all but been offered a job at a dialysis center. I find out friday. When/if I get the job does the BON in Texas tell me what to do?

Are lab resources a part of the monitoring at TX BNE?

I did testing with the tx bon. It was supposed to be for a year. I did it for 10 months. I never had two in one week and never on the weekends, but do not forget to call in! You should be getting a letter to tell you how to start and they will send you chain of custody forms.

I believe the bon goes through recovery trek now and they use quest diagnostics so you should find some close to your area and know the times the are open for testing. You can use approved labs that are not quest but you will have to pay an additional fee on top the UA cost which is around $35 and UAs are around $35-$50 so you can see it may cost about $85 for one test if you go to a non quest diagnostic clinic. Hope this helps.

Thank you Life Lessons!!!!!!!!!! I was semi-offered a position in dialysis today and am going back on Monday to find out for sure and meet with the director. That was exactly the info I was looking for! My stips are for one year as well. Why only 10 months?

You rock.

I'll keep everyone up to date on the job.

Thanks again for the info!

Got the offer today by management but not official until hr calls. Fingers crossed they weren't just shoeing me away. Was a great interview and the second one. They even said they were stip friendly. We shall see! I should be excited as they said yes but until my first day is scheduled I can't get too happy. Wish me luck!
