Just thought I would start a new thread for the current application cycle. Questions... stats... rumors... etc!
My question is... for those applying this cycle, how did you do on the TEAS V? Since this is the first year they are using this test, it would be nice to see how everyone is doing.
(Please don't post TEAS 3 or TEAS 4 results, as the scores are NOT comparable with the TEAS V.)
I saw that too, but I wonder if it took a little extra time since the P.O. closes earlier on Saturdays? I am way over analyzing this, but as you all know, this is completely torturous.

Lastly, I just got off of the phone with the admissions director at Norwalk to confirm NCC applicants will hear this week as well and I also stated what "my commnet" stated and he said "No it should not state this, I thought it was taken down, you should receive notification by May 1st blah blah blah". Then i told him to log on to see for himself and it states eligible applicants will receive notification the week of April 9th. He said "ok yes, the process has been done already and the letters will be coming from hartford anyway, so it's done". He was a little rude but I guess it's due to the volume of calls from people like me lol . It doesn't matter where in CT the letters are coming from, it shoud only take 1 day. Keeping my fingers crossed I hear word this week (:
Ooh fingers crossed, i have to wait intill 2 for the mail. Nef203 let us know either way if u got mail or not I'm thinking we will get them tomorrow but who knows. I dont want the letter anymore!!!!!
Hi All - First post here, but watched the thread last year and this one over the past week or so. Quick back-story: I applied to CCC last year and got accepted...however I could not get my 'intention to attend' letter in by the due date, so I lost my spot.
Looking back, it actually worked out for the better as I would have had to pay for child-care this year as my youngest is in half-day kindergarten, but she will be in 1st grade starting in the Fall. Besides, I originally wasn't planning on being able to apply until THIS year, but realized last January that I was eligible.
I've also used the time to finish up the last two co-requisites: micro (which I took in the summer) and Life Span Development which I'm taking now. After this, all I have are the core classes.
Anyway, so here I am again waiting by the mailbox....which did not contain a letter today. So hopefully tomorrow! Good luck everyone!
I am in New Haven and like i said before i have snail mail and it comes at 645 every night.. She will probibly forget my house because i am waiting for this letter. I have a friend who went to see the head of admissions at GWCC and she told him I am not saying sorry so thats a good thing... REALLY lol what the hell does that mean. I do not think I got in because wouldnt they change your major to nursing if you got in so you can register for classes?? Also CTDON that is crazy how you lost the seat because you didnt reply in time! At Bridgeport they gave me 6 days to reply.. Lets hope the letter gets to me in time or the mail women will keep it for her fridge.
I wonder how many applied in total to GWCC...anyone know?
