Just thought I would start a new thread for the current application cycle. Questions... stats... rumors... etc!
My question is... for those applying this cycle, how did you do on the TEAS V? Since this is the first year they are using this test, it would be nice to see how everyone is doing.
(Please don't post TEAS 3 or TEAS 4 results, as the scores are NOT comparable with the TEAS V.)
I remember from last year when I was in APII one classmate alerted my other classmates that they could check online. Three of them walked upstairs to the computer lab in between lecture and lab and came back and said they'd had a notification that they'd been accepted. Obviously, they had been able to check online before the letters came because up to that point, they were still waiting to hear. One of them was for GWCC. I believed this entire time that I would find out online before I found out through the mail especially since it said on Commnet to check often to check the status. I find it all very strange.
last year when i was waitlisted (boo) i remeber my classmates that were waitlisted saw the message while everyone else (who got in) did not have their commnet statuses updated. at this point i am out of control and overthinking everything but i cant help it!
Guys, doesn't FALL 2012 registration start tonight at midnight? i just thought about that! Is anyone signing up for classes tonight? I am not sure what to do....I signed up for the summer for PSY II class...but if I don't get into the nursing program, I'd take it in the fall..it's so annoying that regsitration starts before we even know if we are accepted or not. how am I supposed to make my plans?
Ya I called gwcc at like 330 she said letters went out at 8 am we should all have them by the end of the week. If anyone gets anything in the mail post it so we have an idea of dates I am in new haven but the mail women is a snail.
here, I found this post on last years thread. it's an email that says what kind of scrubs they needed to wear. I'm not sure what school it was, but it was one of the CCC. I figured it's something fun to do while we are still waiting till tomorrow :) let's shop for some clothes, so tomorrow, when we get our acceptance letter, we can order them right away together :)

I think its funny bc if it were a bill, itd be in our mailboxes yesterday. I wonder if there's a way time go directly to the post office...this is impatience at its best:)
Hello ladies. I spoke to my friend in the admissions office at TRCC and she said that there was a short period of time where people were able to see their nursing statuses online. There was a glitch in the system. It has been taken down in the meantime you will have to wait for your letters. So your nursing statuses for those of you who have seen them ARE correct!!!
At Bridgeport its a thick envelope. I am guessing just a paper we have to have everything in ahead of time its kinda like yes be here at 9 am on june 6th lol. That takes 1 sentence of a huge paper! My step mom graduated from gateway number 1 in her class worked full time and has 2 kids 5 and 10. So no matter what it can be done. I hope I get in!

haha dont worry! odd thing is i was waitlisted last year i swear my letter was from gateway..... but maybe i am wrong.
