Just thought I would start a new thread for the current application cycle. Questions... stats... rumors... etc!
My question is... for those applying this cycle, how did you do on the TEAS V? Since this is the first year they are using this test, it would be nice to see how everyone is doing.
(Please don't post TEAS 3 or TEAS 4 results, as the scores are NOT comparable with the TEAS V.)
Im going to pay rent and check the mail in 20 min. I'll let you all know. Let's hope that the projected mail date of April 9th was a longshot in cased they were missed and they were really mailed on Friday;). My mail lady is gonna kill me tomorrow if it doesn't come today. I have micro class in the afternoon, but on my way as I pass the boxes, she is about 2 in front of mine. Looks like she's going to have to dig my mail out tomorrow. Good thing she's nice lol
LOL... if you get a letter i am so driving home. they should post the status online anyway. why is it such a big deal? everyone will know in a few days regardless!
Are all letters for all schools supposed to go out today? I applied to GWCC & wasn't able to see anything online so I'm waiting for the mail. Just wondering when I will get it...
I also know 3 others who were able to see their status, one waitlisted two accepted, at TRCC. I printed mine so I know it was showing before, but yes they have taken it off now. By the way the search button worked no matter what page you were on and key words were application, or the years 2011, or 2012 or nursing, all those searches were bringing up the link. I also believe those of you who didn't see any status may just have not been entered in, possibly some schools were ahead of schedule and others still had until Thursday so didn't enter them in yet? They probably didn't realize the had a live link until word got to the schools and they disabled them now.
You're all saying that they're sending letters out today...The commnet page says that we will be notified in the week of April 9th by mail. So that doesn't mean they're sending out the letters today, does it? They might send them out tomorrow or later in the week...no worries guys
Ohhh my, my nursing page is gone!! Good i didnt want to see that waitlisted paragraph anymore lol. The offices must have gotten word that we could see the page! Nothing at the mailbox, i'll be waiting there at 2 tomorrow.
I remember from last year when I was in APII one classmate alerted my other classmates that they could check online. Three of them walked upstairs to the computer lab in between lecture and lab and came back and said they'd had a notification that they'd been accepted. Obviously, they had been able to check online before the letters came because up to that point, they were still waiting to hear. One of them was for GWCC. I believed this entire time that I would find out online before I found out through the mail especially since it said on Commnet to check often to check the status. I find it all very strange.
