Hello all,
It's almost that time of year again! I'm applying to the 2011 class which the application period begins this November 1st. We have two months to prepare our applications! Anyone else applying? I've seen the support the last year's class has with this sort of thread and I figured there should be one started for 2011 applicants. What is your TEAS score? GPA? A&P I grade? What were the averages that the 2010 applicants had and they are now starting the fall 2010 program?? Good luck!!!
After reading Annie's post I too went back to last years thread. I noticed a lot of people wer saying that most people who got waitlisted ended up being offered seats for one reason or another. Does anyone know how accurate these statements are?
Unfortunately Mixy, I'm not sure that's true... I was #21 on Gateway's wait-list last year and did not end up with a spot... The wait-list for Gateway had over 70 people I think, and they didn't even make it to me....
I retook A&P I this year and got an 'A' instead of a B+, and if we're to believe the MyCommnet early notifications, got a spot at Norwalk this year : )
Who knows how the wait-lists will work out this year, as the #'s are always different... but I wouldn't assume it's always going to work out. Not trying to be pessimistic, just provide info for people.
Apparently my commnet is being updated again because my friend's just got updated to waitlist again for Gateway. Mine is still the same (never changed the 1st time either) so not sure what that means!
Interesting; nothing new on my commnet. (but then again mine was always thank you we recieved everything stay tuned..)
Kangaroo, thank you for your reply. I did not think it would be possible to get everyone on the wait-lists a seat, it seems there are just so many applicants now that the likelihood of all of those accepted not accepting their seats seems impossible.
I checked my mail today and received nothing as well. Hopefully Monday!!!

So much for late March notification.
