Hi and welcome to the site

All information regarding registering for licensure for Az can be found on their website. You will need CES report from CGFNS and fingerprints are also required.

You are not applying for NCLEX RN but licensure to be a RN in the US of which NCLEX is part of that process. Title changed to reflect this. Would also suggest a read on retrogression as depending on place of birth you are looking at anything from 5-7 years currently. Much to read in this forum.

Halo

Many thanks for your reply . I already having visa screen certificate and my PD is 2006. Now I am planning to appear for RN .I am having one more doubt if I am qualifying through a perticular Nursing board ie Arizona , California etc.. can I work any part of USA ?? I am holding CGFNS also . also advise which Nursing board's processing is speeder ??

Where do you actually plan on working? If you have a PD are you with an agency? This is a bit confusing as you can only get approval and PD if you already have an employer as only they can file for I140. On average with most states you are looking at 4+ months before being allowed to sit NCLEX and even with CGFNS you may still have t get CES done if the state requires it not all will accept the exam

For others that are reading this, the poster passed the CGFNS exam, that is how they were able to get the petitioning process started without having taken the NCLEX-RN exam. The exam is the same, it is a national exam, there is no longer any state that is faster than others, because of the number of applicants. Where are you actually going to be working? I would go by that state since you are going to need to be licensed there, no sense in going thru another state and then needing to endorse, that could take much longer.

I was wondering about the petitioner as only now looking at registering for RN licensure and with a PD of 2006 I would have thought the employer would have requested licensure before now.

Unfortunately, some are very cheap and will not have them take the exam or even apply for it until they are in the US. This way they have them working longer for them, but they do not get paid the RN salary in most cases until they hold a license.

That I understand just can not understand the wait when retrogression has been ongoing since 2006, Would have thought better to get licensure sorted sooner that's all

I also edited the thread to remove the words urgent help since there is nothing urgent about the request for information.
