So I took my NCLEX-RN exam today for the 3rd time and let me tell you it was really tough!!! I studied using learningext.com and a 3 day course from nclex-pass.com. I walked into the testing center nervous but confident that I was gonna pass... The other 2 times I wasn't as motivated to pass as I am now due to my circumstances... I hid my test date from everyone except a select few and I'm glad I did... I panicked when it past 75 but still pushed myself to answer the questions.... Finally, it stopped at 199 and I was exhausted when I left the testing center.... I was debating on doing the person vue trick or not but eventually did... I even had my boyfriend click the NEXT button because I was too chicken to do it..... And the wonderful POPUP CAME!!!! I cried and cried because the other 2 times it went straight to credit card so I truly BELIEVE in this trick!!!!! I prayed to God along with St. Joseph of Cupertino and they were really watching over me!!! God is good!!!! I can't believe I can finally say to my family and friends that I AM AN RN NOW!!!!!
To those who didn't pass the first time, don't give up hope!!! Keep on pursuing your dreams to become a nurse!!!! I thought that I was dumb because everyone in my class can pass except for me but i knew I can overcome this test and I DID!!! GOOD LUCK to all future test takers!!!!

CONGRATS! I can't wait to feel what you feel, I take my test next month for the first time. Do you hv any tips for me ? I'm passing the first time, failing is not an option for me. You dnt knw what I put my husband thru, while going to nursing school, I hv 2 pass first time. LOL, or he'll get me. I'm not working right now, so every morning I get up and practice 100 questions on Saunders nclex cd, I review content from Saunders review book, I listen to nursing nclex audio Mon- Fri. On the weekends I give studying a break. How did you study? Any tips?

Congrats!!!! I can't wait to have that same feeling:) God is good you never gave up and didn't lose faith. I take mine next week and I definitely feel more confident than last times. Congrats again
@Tammy29PNG tell your friend I said good luck;)
When i studied the first 2 times, i didn't take it seriously and just took kaplan because i thought it was gonna make me pass. I did questions everyday but i was thinking QUANTITY over QUALITY. And Kaplan is intended for strategies on how to pass the NCLEX and not on content which i was lacking. So basically for this 3rd time, I was reading content on learningext.com and doing the quizzes after each lesson. I also did the practice questions at the end. What also helped me was knowing the infection mneumonic,"My Chicken Hez TB, SPIDERMAN, MRS. WEE" since I got a lot of infection control questions... My friend was using Sauders to study but the book is very detailed and I get bored easily so I just stuck to learningext.com. Good luck to you almostpedsnurse and sheila0313!! I know you guys will pass and when you feel like giving up, think of what motivates you because that what got me through this test! I did it for my grandma and mom!

hi. congrats! i hope i can pass too. it'll be my second take. the first one was just like you iddnt take it seriously and at that time ive got lots of problems and i was depressed.. i am using kaplan before and now.. and i lack content too that is why i am taking my time reviewing concepts to make sure my passing on NCLEx
Thank u so much for that, that's how I study I review the content in each chapter and when I finish the chapter I take the test at the end of the chapter, then I take the test on the CD-ROM.
