I took my NCLEX for the 3rd time today. I am not quite sure how I feel. The last two times I had 265 questions, lots of priority, infection control, meds I didn't know, diseases I didn't know, and several sata. Today, 75 questions, 2 math, lots of priority again, some infection control, lots of med questions (side effects and I felt more comfortable answering these), and NO sata. :uhoh21:
The last time I looked at how many questions I had done, I was on 63, then a while later the screen went blue & I thought "yay, I need a break." Then the survey came up and I thought "NO!!!!! I'm not done yet!! I need more questions!!!!!" I don't know, the questions didn't seem as hard, but I'm just so paranoid after failing twice. It took me about 2 hours and I was done vs. 5 1/2 hours the other times. I'm trying to stay positive.....I just am not sure how I feel...... :icon_roll
Best of luck to those of you about to take your exam!!! I'm praying for you all!!! Please pray for me too...that I see PASSED......:wink2:

You're in my prayers...
I was going to do Suzannes plan, but my ATT expired too soon for me to qualify time wise. So, because I had finished the first step of the plan, I just kept going with Saunders 4th Ed answering questions on the cd every day. I tried to answer at least 100 per day. I read the rationals even if I got them right. I made flash cards for the labs, I studied the drug classes & prefixes so I would at least be more familiar with the drugs. I'm glad I did that because I had a ton of med questions this time, but only 2 were calculations. I also focused on priority & infection control and had a lot of those all 3 times. I also read the strategies in Saunders a few times and actually used them to answer the questions, it seemed to help me focus on what the question was asking. I just stuck with Saunders. Suzannes plan is on the stickys at the top of this forum if you want info on that. I would definately recommend doing it.....but you may not need to. Just try to think positive, you might get the surprise of your life. Good luck, praying for you....
