RCC Nursing Program Spring 2022 (ADN)

Hello everyone, 

I am starting this to share information and keep in touch just incase some of us hear back sooner than others. This is for those who plan to submit an application to the ADN program for Spring 2022. Any questions feel free to ask and hopefully this is helpful(:

Also quick question: did the materials from the ATI testing website help with your studying? I do not where to start and I am applying in October! ?

I never looked at the ATI website for materials, but if you go through the posts here, I had posted a list of resources I used to study for the exam! ?

Has anyone received any additional information about taking the TEAS with RCC? I just want to make sure because so far the only email I have received was the invite.

I believe a few days prior so maybe tomorrow or Tuesday you should receive an email with instructions(: that’s how it happened last application period.

I went on the zoom yesterday and asked this very question and she said we will receive and email with how to register with ATI, what’s allowed on our tables, a diagram of everything. She said they will be sent in the next few days

How does it work if you have already taken the TEAS? Do you get an invite take it again orr? Do you just wait for an invite to the second round?

You just send them in.. if you already took it & passed, you don't need to take the exam again. Also, there's no second round of invites, there is one invite per application term

Yes I got invited last application period. The way it works is you have to have a computer to take your exam & another device pointed towards you, your table & your screen so they can be able to see what is going on. So make sure to have 2 devices that work.

If you already passed the exam with a 62% or higher you just send in your test score to RCC & they only take the first passing grade.

That sounds very different ? I understand they have to watch but I thought ATI TEAS would host it? How is the exam set up? Nothing how ATI TEAS has on its website?

you guys are being proctored by the school through zoom instead of ATI
