RCC Nursing Program Spring 2022 (ADN)

Hello everyone, 

I am starting this to share information and keep in touch just incase some of us hear back sooner than others. This is for those who plan to submit an application to the ADN program for Spring 2022. Any questions feel free to ask and hopefully this is helpful(:

Hello! I spoke with ----- today and she said that cep finds out in October. Traditional and lvn to RN find out early December. 
 

how did you do on your TEAS ?

Thank you for the confirmation! I did not take my TEAS with RCC since I took it back in June, but I got an 82.7%. How about you?

That is a great score! I got a 69 I was very disappointed ☹️

Hey, you made it past the requirement! I hope the rest of your application will lift your total points. How many total points do you have, if you don't mind me asking?

Hi all, do you know if we have to send in proof of proficiency in a second language if it's our first native language?

Based on the last forum for Spring 2021, CEP applicants had gotten their results at the beginning of Nov, whereas traditional had gotten theirs near the end of Nov. 

And I believe we would start when the Spring semester starts at RCC.

@lahNursingStudent24 you do not need to send proof of language proficiency that I am aware of. From another student who talked to ----- this morning decisions for CEP should be going out in bout 2 weeks.

I spoke with ----- and she told me that we should hear back for the CEP program in about 2 weeks. She told me she's starting to do a point calculations this week. Good luck ?

Now that everyone took their TEAS how many points are you all applying with if you don't mind sharing?

@roses909 thank you for letting me know!! I might have 77-82 points. How about you? 

@MichelleChiado I met with ----- today to calculate my point and his calculation was short of 4 points than what I had calculated. I recalculated many times and I still got 82 points ? admissions is still working on one of my transcript so maybe I’ll meet with a counselor again next week to double check!

@roses909I heard the same thing on Monday by another student that in 2 weeks she should be ready with decisions for CEP. I spoke to S last Thursday & im applying with 75 points so fingers crossed on the CEP ??

Hi @Kimieeperez!

 

When you met with ----- for your point review, did you make an appointment or did you do the drop-in counseling?

I believe I am applying with 75 points but I am not so sure anymore haha.
