RCC Nursing Program Spring 2022 (ADN)

Hello everyone, 

I am starting this to share information and keep in touch just incase some of us hear back sooner than others. This is for those who plan to submit an application to the ADN program for Spring 2022. Any questions feel free to ask and hopefully this is helpful(:

will they be sending out the letters the first week of October? I hope it’s not mid to late October, or else im just going to go crazy from waiting ?

@lahNursingStudent24 & @natrose during the day I don’t feel stressed but I can’t sleep at night that’s how stressed all this waiting has me ??

@stormii I was hoping we could hear back first week of October if not mid October the latest, but from what I read in the other forums, they never send the emails on time or during the time they say.

@Kimieeperez from past forums, I read that they didn’t near back until the end of November! the wait is dreadful haha

@lahNursingStudent24 I had read that too ! IDK if I can wait that long. hopefully they have gotten better at sending out these decisions. Wishful thinking LOL.

That’s how I feel too, I’m fine all day and then at night is when the anxiety hits! ?

Anyone applying to other schools or just RCC?

@natrose I applied to Cypress, Santa Ana, Rio Hondo, Saddleback, and CSULB. Also UCLA, USF (OC location), CBU and Azusa for their entry master’s program. How about you?

I applied to RCC (both CEP and traditional),  MSJC, Saddleback, Santa Ana, El Camino, Compton, CSUSM (ABSN program), and LBCC but they already sent me a denial haha.

Do you have to take an entrance exam on top of TEAS?

I wanted to apply to other places but I was missing general psych. I’m barely taking it right now. Then other school give a lot of points for work experience which I don’t have ?

Hi guys!

So I am trying to apply for the Fall semester 2022 since we were told during our TEAS exam with RCC to apply 1st of October in case we don't get selected for Spring but when I go to the website, under "Application Filing Dates "--> "Fall: Opens: First business day of October" there should be a link to let us apply and there is none ?.  I was pretty sure this was the place to apply ... can anyone help?

I just checked & you are right. There isn’t a link which is odd because for Spring there was a link available. Just try again later in the after noon if not maybe it’ll be up by Monday(:
