RCC Nursing Program Spring 2022 (ADN)

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone,

I am starting this to share information and keep in touch just incase some of us hear back sooner than others. This is for those who plan to submit an application to the ADN program for Spring 2022. Any questions feel free to ask and hopefully this is helpful(:

Hi guys! I submitted my application yesterday, so I'll probably have to wait a while to get my confirmation email. So far I have only 50 points, but if I take the TEAS and get above 90+, I'll have 80! ?

Hi !! Nice even if you get 25 points from the TEAS 75 points is good to apply with too(:

I recalculated my points and with the 30 points of the TEAS I will have 72.. I wonder what the cut off is? I didn’t put the foreign language points because I thought it was if you are fluent in a foreign language it took advance placement but I did take Spanish 1 and 2. Should I of put these points?

Uff that's a close one because I know a guy who got into the ADN, but he had 73 points. I have heard that every application period points vary. TBH that would be a great question to ask one of the advisors.

Hi everyone! Did anyone else apply for the advanced placement program for LVNs. Also, how difficult is this program to get into? Anyone have any insight? I work for Kaiser so I’m hoping that helps make up for my B’s in A&P??

Same here I work fir loma linda, I think it is as hard as any of the schools to get into very competitive. When did you apply? I will apply for the Lvn advance placement for the fall term because I’m going to take the bridge class this fall. Did you take that class already ?

I applied for the regular ADN & CEP. I had 2 B’s in the sciences during the last application period & had to retake one of them for an A. I’m hoping my chances are a lot better now.

Hi Michelle, I am also taking that course this fall! Are you taking it online or are you taking the one that meets on Thursdays? I was told that as long as I’m Registered in the class I can apply now. You should check into that to see if you can apply now!

Hi Lucia! I am going to take NRN-18 in person section 48942. Is that the same class you are taking? Oh so I totally forgot I did put the Lvn one on my application I just didn’t put the CEP so let’s see there was a bunch of options?

Oh I see so you’re applying for the traditional two year program as well? Yes, that’s the same one I’m taking! I’ll see you in class! Good luck!

Yes I am, good luck to you too girl. How many points are you applying with before the TEAS test?

I have no idea, LOL. I have to figure it out. I just realized that RCC doesn’t have a recency rule this month and registered in NRN-18 and requested all of my transcripts & applied! I wasn’t anticipating being able to apply this year without retaking my A&P. I am not going to take the TEAS test though because the advanced placement students take the HESI instead of I’m not mistaken
