  1. I wish I knew that info!! I have a feeling chances aren’t that great on getting in as an alternate for the AP program as they would be for the traditional program though.. just because of how few spots there are to begin with. Fingers crossed though!!
  2. I also applied to the AP program and am also an alternate, so is my friend.
  3. I didn’t get to retake my HESI and with those points I still didn’t get in but I’m an alternate so fingers crossed! The HESI was definitely tough and I think the best thing to do is study like you’re studying for the NCLEX. Good luck!
  4. Hi! I did not get accepted for the bridge program this Spring. I only got 15 points for my HESI but I did retake my anatomy and physiology classes because I had B’s in those and also took another course for 2 extra points since then. I just had an appointment with a nursing evaluation specialist and she said that I have 73 points now. Anyways I will let you know if I get in for the fall with those points! I know it varies.
  5. Congratulations Michelle! When did you get your email? I haven’t heard back yet. I don’t think I did though ?
  6. That’s awesome Michelle! I don’t have nearly that many points. I’m totally sure you’ll get into the bridge program! A lot people in our class didn’t pass the HESI that’s why! ?
  7. I just barely passed ! ? So I’ll only get 15 points for it. But my score was 100 points over the class average so I still have my fingers crossed for a miracle acceptance. LOL. How about you?
  8. Hey Michelle, I think it’s just you and I on this thread! Let me know when you get your letter! Good luck!
  9. Hello everyone! Just wondering if there's anyone on here who has either graduated from or are currently in the LVN-RN bridge program at RCC that can tell me how they got in? Or how many points they had? Did anyone get in with lower points because they worked for a partnering facility? Is that possible? Just wondering if I should do some volunteer work, retake some classes, learn a foreign language... any info on how you got in helps! Thank you in advance! Lucia
  10. I have no idea, LOL. I have to figure it out. I just realized that RCC doesn’t have a recency rule this month and registered in NRN-18 and requested all of my transcripts & applied! I wasn’t anticipating being able to apply this year without retaking my A&P. I am not going to take the TEAS test though because the advanced placement students take the HESI instead of I’m not mistaken
  11. Oh I see so you’re applying for the traditional two year program as well? Yes, that’s the same one I’m taking! I’ll see you in class! Good luck!
  12. Hi Michelle, I am also taking that course this fall! Are you taking it online or are you taking the one that meets on Thursdays? I was told that as long as I’m Registered in the class I can apply now. You should check into that to see if you can apply now!
  13. Hi everyone! Did anyone else apply for the advanced placement program for LVNs. Also, how difficult is this program to get into? Anyone have any insight? I work for Kaiser so I’m hoping that helps make up for my B’s in A&P??
