  1. Hey guys, after the holidays let's plan a meet up at a cafe or something before bootcamp starts.
  2. Hi future nurse besties! I got an acceptance email around 2:30 and I'm so happy, words can't even explain the feeling. Let me know if you want to link up for coffee before our orientation! ?
  3. Hey sorry for the late reply. Bio-50B has had me stressed and busy. I asked someone for you about (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and she said that she was a good professor and was overall easy. I applied for (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). As for contacting the dean I recommend emailing (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) to see if she can help you. I have been emailing her this week and she has been helpful. Ask what's her availability so you can speak to her through zoom because since it's Summer there are no appointments because most staff aren't working during this session. Also, I recommend emailing her today because she's usually off by 5 and you matter is urgent, and because the weekend is almost here and you wouldn't want more days passing by. I wanted to also let you know that if you take it in Winter you won't be able to apply in November to begin Fall 2022. If you take it in Winter it will push you to apply in July to begin Spring of 2023. So try to have her help you contact the Dean.
  4. Great! glad you figured it out. So you did find available spots for NXN-84? What professor did you register with.
  5. It probably doesn't show because when your on EDUNAV you don't have all school clicked when you search NXN-84. I don't think all schools offer it. Don't quote me but I think its only available at Riverside campus not Norco or MVC but again, I'm not 100% on that. You should double check EDUNAV. I haven't take it, I'm currently enrolled to take in for FALL at RCC. So for FALL I'm taking NXN-84, Bio-55, and Kin-4. I don't think NXN-84 will be difficult its more of a preparation for nursing school type class. I think CHE-2A, and Bio-55, and MAT-12 are the hardest of everything we have to take.
  6. I'm taking (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME), he's for MVC. Too bad we aren't enrolled together, would've been cool. Also, no worries about the textbook. I recently enrolled in TRIO so I just have to submit a form to get one textbook per semester. They also provide early registration for their student incase you are interested they have good resources. You can contact (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) from RCC if you wanna check it out. Since I know it's difficult getting into nursing prerequisites that why I joined. What else will you be taking in the Fall besides Micro and A&P2 ? Will this fall be your last semester and did you already complete the NXN-84 course?
  7. Yeah, no worries! What teacher and school did you enroll with for Micro (BIO-55)? BTW do you still have your Bio-50B textbook? If you'd like to rent it or sell it please LMK I might be interested.
  8. Thats okay I still want ADN student on this thread I forgot to mention I'm applying to both program as a safety net so I hope to get in to either or but I do prefer to get into the Traditional RN/ADN program. So as for your grades I am saying to only worry about your nursing prerequisites (don't worry as much what you General ED GPA). So I recommend scheduling an appointment with this link below https://esars.rccd.edu/Riverside/NURSING/eSARS.asp?WCI=Init&WCE=Settings and Click (Health and Science) then pick a counselor and chose to schedule with (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). She is a nursing counselor for SON (school of nursing ) with RCC. She is very knowledgeable and she can tell you what your GPA is for the nursing prerequisites you have completed and she can compare and tell you what it can be if you retake and get an A in Bio 50B. She is literally the best and has guided me throughout my journey. I schedule with her after every semester to keep myself on the right track. Lmk if the link doesn't work. Schedule ASAP because she is always booked. However, if you can't get an appointment LMK and I'll give you her email. She also does live drop in zoom meetings on rcc.edu I believe every Wednesday at 11-12
  9. What are your grades or CHE-2A, PSY-9, BIO-50A, MAT-12, BIO 1 ? Because if you have all A's in those classes which I believe those are the only ones that really matter for the sciences for the application then you should be fine because I think you'll still have a 3.7 for all those classes accumulated. So that's if you keep your C in Bio-50B but promising an A for Micro(Bio-55) does that make sense?
  10. I'm actualizing enrolled in Bio50B right now for Summer (class began today) do you plan to get into Summer as well?
  11. Hi everyone my name is Karina. I'm applying for RCC's RN ADN/BSN/CEP Program for Fall 2022 and I wanted to see if there are others out there that are also applying during that term so we can have a support group. I'm still finishing up this fall (Sending my application in November 2021). Maybe we can all share what classes we all have left or any questions anyone has so we can all help each other with our doubts and concerns. I'm hoping to make lifetime friends to get through nursing school with. Team work makes the dream work right! You guys can also follow me on IG: Karii__9 and message me if you have any questions about what classes you need or anything nursing.
