Hi, everyone!
Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Fall 2020!
I submitted my application 2 weeks ago. Where are you all in terms of your application process?
Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you all an update about the cutoff for CEP for Fall 2020. It was 71 points. They are still in the process of reviewing transcripts for those admitted. Admission notifications were initially scheduled to go out last week (which didn’t happen) or this week, but it is possible that they may be further delayed because of the mandatory school closures. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see when they’ll send out decisions to our RCC emails? Hopefully it’s soon LOL

I was told that too but I do not know if that is for CEP or ADN. Do you know if that is for CEP or ADN?

Is everyone applying and straight A students with no social skills like me?
I’m a straight A student with a little social skill LOL.....I’ve applied tor ADN though. What about you?
What do you guys think about the recent dangers of coronavirus?
I mean we will be the first on the front line any time when such things come.
Aren't you scared for yourself and your families being a nurse?
Just wondering because one of my family members said that. I still want to be a nurse though but what is your opinion on that?

Yes, I still want to be a nurse. I think that people are panicking unnecessarily too much because they have no way to tell which is or which is not accurate information about the disease. If you’re a nurse, yes, it is true that you might be at a higher risk to get exposed to the virus ,but at least you know what you can expect and what exactly you need to do if you or one of you families get infected.

I think nowadays, even medical professionals do not really know what to do. They just follow the protocol and even social distancing is not working well.
I am really concerned about it now. But I am waiting for an acceptance letter
